The lovely lady Laila has now been given a formal release by AQIS from the quarantine paddock at New-Moon Stud. The long importation process is finally over – with a happy healthy mare and foal 🙂

New-Moon Stud were proud to hold the 100km South Coast Zone Championship in the Wingello State Forest on the 29th May 2011. The new ride base catered well for the record numbers – 172 horses. Delrain Beersheba had a great run at Tooraweenah in western NSW over the weekend. Her first 80km competition after a years break, and she came 2nd across the line and placed 2nd in Middleweight division. A tough little mare with a big season ahead of her.
The two lovely Shagya girls, Medina and Laila, finally arrived safe and sound at New-Moon Stud on Saturday 19th March. The weather was not kind, greeting them with rain and cold. They have been collected from Rudolph and Sabine Meindl’s farm in Austria. They go first to the UK for pre-import quarantine, and then to Sydney for a further 3 weeks quarantine, before they can be welcomed at New-Moon Stud.Details
